Kristine Whitehead Charged With Kidnapping And Interfering With Child Custody

Killeen News Now – Kristine Whitehead, the mother of three young children that are still missing, has been charged with kidnapping and Interfering with child custody.

According to the Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office, Kristine Whitehead, is in Lampasas County Jail after turning herself in Wednesday. A judge set Her bond at $100,000 on the kidnapping charge and $10,000 for interfering with child custody. An Amber Alert was issued Saturday. According to the Amber Alert, Whitehead’s children, Christopher Robertson II, Christine Robertson, and Kristen Robertson, were last seen with her on June 3, possibly traveling in a White Toyota Tundra. Investigators believe Whitehead took her children from an address in Lampasas to an undisclosed location. The Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office asked the FBI and the U.S. Marshals to help find the children. In an interview with a local news outlet, Whitehead said that her children were safe and that she believes the Amber Alert to be unnecessarily issued in her custody case.
