Noel Anders, 25, of Killeen, was arrested Friday on suspicion of carrying methamphetamine.
According to an affidavit, officers with the Killeen Police Department arrested Noel Anders following a traffic stop. A K9 unit alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle in which she was traveling.
The affidavit alleges that Anders did not have a driver’s license and could not provide any official form of identification. An officer asked for her name and date of birth. She provided false information. A K9 unit on the scene detected the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle Anders was driving. A search of the vehicle, located a plastic baggie between the seat Anders was using and the center console.
Anders had two passengers with her. She claimed the 0.18-gram bag of methamphetamine was hers. Anders was taken to the Bell County Jail. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram. Her bond is set at $20,000.
