Dongjin Semichem Texas Coming To Killeen

Killeen News Now – Dongjin Semichem Texas will spend an estimated $70 million to build its first US facility at Killeen Business Park.

According to a presentation by Scott Connell, president and CEO of the Killeen Economic Development Corporation, Dongjin Semichem, a south Korean chemical company, has plans to acquire and develop at least 31 acres at the Killeen Business Park in northeast Killeen.

Founded in 1973, Dongjin Semichem manufactures blended products to support the production of semiconductors at Samsung in Williamson County. The company has been supplying ArFi (argon fluoride immersion) photoresists to Samsung Electronics for its state-of-the-art DRAM production lines since the end of last year. Dongjin Semichem Texas plans to use its new Killeen facility to produce chemical materials for flat panel displays and semiconductors. Its products include photoresist, bottom anti-reflecting coating, top coating, thinners, strippers, and color resists.
