Killeen News Now – Yorluis Cruz, a 25-year-old Killeen man, died when his motorcycle collided with a jeep early Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, April 6, at 12:57 a.m., Officers with the Killeen Police Department were dispatched to the 4900 block of South Clear Creek Road in response to a call about a wreck. Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles that were involved. A preliminary investigation showed a blue Suzuki motorcycle was traveling southbound in the inside lane when it hit a black Jeep SUV traveling southbound from behind. Yorluis Cruz, the man riding the motorcycle, succumbed to his injuries on the scene. He was pronounced dead at 2:00 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson.
